Genvid Entertainment, winner of the 2024 Emmy Award for Outstanding Innovation in Emerging Media, has released the first trailer for DC Heroes United, a brand-new mobile game debuting later this year.
DC Heroes United features an all-new storyline with weekly decisions that audiences will make to impact the future of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more. The story sets the Justice League at year zero, meaning fans will have an opportunity to shake up the team from the very beginning. How the Justice League forms, the relationships between the characters – and in some cases, who survives – is all up to the audience.
Each week, multiple choices will be unveiled in the mobile app that will allow the audience to impact Earth-212, a DC multiverse world in which Super Heroes are not yet a common phenomenon and are brought to prominence through these decisions. The next episode will change according to the audience’s choices, with final episodes available to watch via Tubi and within the DC Heroes United app, as well as on DC’s Official YouTube channel and DC.com.
DC Heroes United also incorporates a fun roguelite game that is updated weekly alongside the narrative series: the EveryHero Project, a combat simulation run by LexCorp to better understand hero powers. Here, players can test their mettle by facing off against hordes of enemies and face off against the likes of Bane, Poison Ivy, and many more across Gotham City, Metropolis and other locations.
Licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC, this engaging title integrates gaming and interactive storytelling in ways never before seen in entertainment. Slated to launch in Fall 2024, pre-registration is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
