Genvid now handles 3D models the same way it handles images. You can attach a .glb or .fbx file to any asset in your project, right alongside its reference images, and open it in the image editor to look it over.
Upload and Inspect
Open an asset in the image editor, upload a model (up to 50 MB), and select it in the media strip. The 3D viewer lets you orbit, zoom, and pan around the mesh, so your team can check a prop or a character without leaving the project. The viewer is read-only; you still make and edit the model in your own tools.
Keep the Original Where It Lives
Plenty of studios would rather not copy production geometry into one more vendor’s storage. You can register a model that stays in your own storage, and Genvid holds only a lightweight geometry proxy so the viewer can still render it. The editor tells you when you’re looking at the proxy rather than the original.
One Record for Every Asset
A model lives in the same asset record as the images and video your team already reviews and approves. Genvid records how each model was made (uploaded, image-to-3D, or text-to-3D) and which asset it belongs to, so you can trace a character’s mesh back to the concept image it started from.
If your team works in 3D and you’d like to try it on a real project, please get in touch and tell us what you’re making.
