Get information about how to interact with DC Heroes United
DC Heroes United uses Simplified Chinese or Japanese depending on the language setting of your iOS device.
If you are using both Japanese and Simplified Chinese on your device, the fonts in DC Heroes United may appear incorrect depending on the language priority in iOS.
For example, if Japanese is set as a higher priority than Simplified Chinese, yet you have DC Heroes United set to display in Simplified Chinese, the app will attempt to use the Japanese font to render the Simplified Chinese characters.
Similarly, if Simplified Chinese is set as a higher priority than Japanese in your iOS settings, and you have DC Heroes United set to display in Japanese, the app will attempt to use the Simplified Chinese font to render the Japanese characters.
Either way, the characters in DC Heroes United may not be readable.
You can adjust your phone’s language settings by visiting Settings > General > Language & Region > Preferred Languages.
Ensure that your desired font is displayed and that the priority of your chosen language is set appropriately.
To see Simplified Chinese correctly, set it as a higher priority than Japanese.
To see Japanese correctly, set it as a higher priority than Simplified Chinese.
Each item has a rarity level that determines all of the benefits your character receives when equipping it. The levels are:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Legendary +
Radiant
Radiant +
Prismatic
Prismatic +
You can upgrade an item’s rarity level to receive stat boosts and even special effects!
Stat boosts occur each time an item is upgraded, and special effects are added at the Rare, Legendary, Radiant, and Prismatic levels.
The game is completely free-to-play! You’ll have access to a wide variety of content and characters without spending money. However, there will be optional in-game purchases for things like character power-ups, and premium content. These purchases are optional and do not affect your ability to affect the decisions proposed in the interactive series. There are no “pay-to-win” mechanics.
You will need an active internet connection to play and enjoy the interactive series and mobile game of DC Heroes United on the mobile app. The 30-minute episodes resulting from the audience’s weekly decisions will also air on Tubi and DC’s Official YouTube.
Players will be able to unlock and level up characters in the EveryHero Project game using rewards earned from their play. Week after week, new options for powers and characters will be made available depending on the narrative course of the interactive series.
Players can use STORY TOKENS to make their choices in the weekly decisions. Players can earn STORY TOKENS just by logging into the DC Heroes United app each day and playing the EveryHero Project roguelite game, which is available 24/7 inside the DC Heroes United app and updates weekly with new locations, Super Heroes, Super-Villains and abilities.
After watching the latest episode(s) of the DC Heroes United series, players will receive new choices each week that will impact the next episode. To participate in making these weekly decisions, players will use STORY TOKENS, which can be earned for free just by logging into the app and by playing the EveryHero Project roguelite. In this game mode, players will face thousands of enemies that will change each week. New bosses, Super Heroes and abilities will also be unlocked as the series progresses.
To enable sound in DC Heroes United:
Open DC Heroes United.
Tap the “Gear” icon in the upper right corner to open the settings menu.
Tap “On” next to Sound.
To disable sound in DC Heroes United:
Open DC Heroes United.
Tap the “Gear” icon in the upper right corner to open the settings menu.
Tap “Off” next to Sound.
To enable vibration in DC Heroes United:
Open DC Heroes United.
Tap the “Gear” icon in the upper right corner to open the settings menu.
Tap “On” next to Vibration.
To disable vibration in DC Heroes United:
Open DC Heroes United.
Tap the “Gear” icon in the upper right corner to open the settings menu.
Tap “Off” next to Vibration.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone / iPad.
Tap on Notifications.
Scroll down and select the DC Heroes United app.
Toggle off Allow Notifications to disable notifications.
Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Tap on Apps.
Scroll and select the DC Heroes United app.
Tap on Notifications.
Toggle off Allow Notifications to disable notifications.
DC Heroes United currently supports English and Spanish.
To change your default language:
Open DC Heroes United.
Tap the “Gear” icon in the upper right corner to open the settings menu.
Tap the “Language” drop-down menu.
