Learn more about DC Heroes United, the interactive series, and integrated Every Hero Project game.
DC Heroes United is a brand-new interactive streaming series and mobile game based on characters created by DC where the audience decides what happens to the Justice League together. The title features an all-new storyline with weekly decisions that audiences will make to impact the future of DC Super Heroes including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and many more.
Each week, multiple choices will be unveiled in the mobile app that will allow the audience to impact Earth-212, a DC multiverse world in which Super Heroes are not yet a common phenomenon and are brought to prominence through these decisions. The next episode will then change according to the audience’s choices, available to watch via Tubi and within the DC Heroes United app, as well as on DC’s Official YouTube channel and DC.com – The Official Home of DC.
DC Heroes United also incorporates a fun roguelite game that is updated weekly alongside the narrative series: the EveryHero Project, a combat simulation run by LexCorp to better understand hero powers. Here, players can test their mettle against hordes of enemies and face off against the likes of Bane, Poison Ivy, and many more across Gotham City, Metropolis and other locations.
The game is suitable for players aged 13 and older. The content is designed to be family-friendly, with no explicit language, but it does include some fantasy combat elements typical of Super Hero stories.
English and Spanish are supported.
Yes! We’ll be offering exclusive DC-themed skins for your favorite Super Heroes. These items are purely cosmetic, allowing you to give your characters a unique look, and don’t impact gameplay. You will be able to unlock these items using in-game currencies.
The game is completely free-to-play! You’ll have access to a wide variety of content and characters without spending money. However, there will be optional in-game purchases for things like character power-ups, and premium content. These purchases are optional and do not affect your ability to affect the decisions proposed in the interactive series. There are no “pay-to-win” mechanics.
What happens in the interactive narrative series affects The EveryHero Project, and what audiences do in The EveryHero Project affects the series.
This creates a unique experience blending gameplay with innovative storytelling that’s unprecedented in media. The game will add new characters, rogues and locations each week as the story airs on Tubi – and what the audience does in the game will be referenced in subsequent episodes.
There will be 3-5 choices available per episode, equaling around 180 possible branches in Season 1.
After watching the latest episode(s) of the DC Heroes United series, players will receive new choices each week that will impact the next episode. To participate in making these weekly decisions, players will use STORY TOKENS, which can be earned for free just by logging into the app and by playing the EveryHero Project roguelite. In this game mode, players will face thousands of enemies that will change each week. New bosses, Super Heroes and abilities will also be unlocked as the series progresses.
Both the interactive streaming series and the mobile game feature a large roster of iconic DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains.
As the interactive series progresses and you advance in the game, you will unlock and be able to play as characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Lex Luthor, Cyborg and many others.
You will also be able to watch in the series characters such as Alfred Pennyworth, Bane, Steve Trevor, Lois Lane or Amanda Waller.
The story sets the Justice League at year zero, meaning fans will have an opportunity to shake up the team from the very beginning. How the Justice League forms, the relationships between the characters – and in some cases, who survives – is all up to the audience.
